Street Chic in Sneaks

Hi y’all!

So today’s post is all about my everyday clothing style. In my previous posts I’ve worn outfits that I would wear on occasions where I actually get up and get dressed in the mornings if I have somewhere to go, which isn’t very often! I honestly wear running shorts, sweats, sneakers, leggings and a tank on most days. But I do style up my casual clothes on occasions like today.

Wearing sneakers is kind of my thing, I’m a huge sneaker head and own way too many pairs to own up too. Its the tomboy in me! And if you know me, you know that my OCD about my kicks is through the roof, no scuff and no dirt, they always have to be fresh! And wearing sneakers with more than workout clothes and incorporating them into more of your street clothes is the perfect way to stay comfortable while running errands or grabbing lunch with your friends.

I’ve channeled my inner Rhianna and Riff Raff today! I’m rocking a faux hawk styled by my amazingly talented hair stylist and best friend, Allyson Evans at Shannon Alexander Salon & Spa. And as Riff Raff would say I’m, “Tip Toe Wing in my Jawwdinz.”

This look I paired my new Jordan’s with a pair of Victoria Secret leggings with a sequin stripe down the leg, a cut off New York tee, and a safari vest vest from Old Navy. Paired with my favorite black on black Michael Kors watch and small statement necklace from fossil.

In my more casual running around getting things done outfit, I kept the same leggings and paired them with a royal blue cut off shirt from Forever21 with cut out details in the back and one of my many pairs of Nike Free 5.0’s in white and silver with cheetah print details. And of course a pair of red beats by Dr.Dre, making it a little ghetto fab!

I’m a sneaker head for life and I think everyone should jump on my wagon! You can make any outfit sneaker accessible if you try! Put on your favorite pieces, throw on your favorite kicks and call it a day!

 XOXO

Jordan
