I Stole It From…..The Mall?
Since Christmas time is quickly approaching (T minus 9 days!!!!). Everyone is a little busy and especially a little broke. But, since I still had a lot of Christmas shopping to do, I decided I would kill two birds with one stone…..What better way to get into the Christmas spirit while shopping for others, than to stop stressing, have a little fun and borrow the mall’s wardrobe for yourself?!?
So for today’s post, I went to some of my favorite stores all around the mall (aka Bloomingdales because they literally have everything) and snapped some looks for the season’s cutest holidays finds without having to spend another dime…..that I never had to begin with 😦
And no I didn’t ACTUALLY steal these outfits from the mall (I actually bought like half of what I tried on……I know. I know. I have a problem) ….. let’s call it borrowing. I shopped for others and tried on for myself. It’s a win-win for someone as fashion obsessed as I am. Also, this post is bias towards Free People.

Winter Trends to Look For:
whether hats or sweaters or coats, chunky loose and fun knits are everywhere
Elaborate Lace Details
intricately detailed lace tops and dresses are a huge piece of this winter’s trends
Colored and Full Bodied Furs
this vest, and many more like this are still a huge winter trend (winter=fur)
Prints, Prints, PRINTS
awesome crop tops like this Nanette Lepore top and dresses are definitely a great winter staple
Sequins, Beaded and Embellishments
I wouldn’t necessarily wear these sequin sweatpants personally, but embellished tops and embellished items definitely are a great holiday look to carry into the new year.
The mall constantly has new looks, especially some fun fresh finds for this season. And since were broke and definitely not shameless, I figured I would execute today’s post via borrowing. So, if you have some left over christmas money for your friends and family, or yourself, these pieces are still in stores!
