This year for New Years Eve I spent my evening babysitting three kids. So instead of showing you my outfit for the evening, (since it was less than impressive), I wanted to spotlight some of my close friends who made up for my lack of style this year.
This year Joelle spent her NYE in Washington DC with some of her college friends. For her black tie party, Joelle went with this dress from Ralph Lauren. Fab.
Katie spent her NYE in Philly with some friends. Her top and skirt are from Forever 21, her shoes are from Charlotte Russe, and her necklace is from That Shuu Girl in Lancaster (given to her by me for Christmas woo!)
Mimi (on the left) spent her NYE in her hometown with some of her close friends. She sported this sexy romper from Love Culture for the evening.
Morgan spent her night in Manayunk with some of her friends from school. Her outfit consists of a Lauren Conrad for Kohls dress, blue velvet boots from DSW, tights from New York and Company, Alex and Ani Bracelets, and Necklaces from her friend Bri… You’ll have to ask Bri on that one…
Alexa was also in Manayunk with Morgan. She is sporting a black dress from Marshall’s, tights from Charlotte Russe, flats from Nine West, a necklace from Old Navy, and glasses from Warby Parker. That dress is awesome.
Bri is the last of the Manayunk crew (accompanied by her boyfriend Kyle). Last night she went out in a matching set from BCBG, accessorized by a necklace from Target and Shoes from Marshall’s… which are hard to see but they’re there!
Like me, Kim took one for the team and worked yesterday on NYE. However that didn’t stop her from bringing some style into the hospital. Along with her scrubs, Kim sported Swarovski earrings and a diamond heart pendant necklace from her grandmother. Clearly Kim wasn’t about to let work get in the way of looking fab on New Years.
Like I said, I did not attend a black tie party or hit the clubs last night on NYE. Instead I got to hang out with these hooligans for the night, accompanied by some One Direction and Taylor Swift sing alongs. I went simple with a tank and blazer, as well as a black jersey maxi for a comfy yet stylish look.
Happy 2015! Go get ’em!
