This week I thought it would be fun to see what it’s like as a reader of our blog. It’s easy for us to tell you guys about our own style, but how easy is it to take what we say and put it to use? Well I wanted to find out… so this week I tried my best to dress like my fellow bloggers using the clothes in my closet. I must say… It was harder than I thought. Enjoy.

For me, the first three things I thought of for Jordan were fur vest, converse, and MK bag. Jordan is great at mixing sporty and fabulous together and somehow making it work. I felt so out of my comfort zone in this outfit but I loved channeling my inner Jordan for the day.

For Emily my number one thought was BABYDOLL DRESS. It screams Emily. So I pulled this little number out of my closet and threw on a leather jacket to hint at Emily’s edgier side. Another thing that I think Emily is known for is her riding boots. I don’t own anything close to riding boots, so I put on some knee high socks instead. Last but not least? Big, beautiful hair.

Katie can go many ways. Tomboy, grunge, girly, you name it. But one thing I love about her style is how she can mix it all together and make it work. A girly skirt for Katie is a must, paired with an army green jacket and some socks and heels, I was able to get the full Katie look.

Julia can also do several looks. She’s got 90’s grunge to a tee and wears layers of black like it’s nobody’s business. I decided to channel in her black on black look since I too find myself hiding in all black during the winter months. One thing that I think is a staple for Julia’s look is a good pair of jeans. So I grabbed the nicest pair I had and layered on the black. Top it off with a leather jacket and a bold lip to get the full effect!

I must say, trying to dress like someone else can be difficult and exhausting. I think I learned that although it’s great to take tips and find inspiration from other people (like us!) you should never try to be somebody else. Now can I please go back to wearing oversized everything? K Thanks…
