Wearing white after Labor day is a fashion faux pas…. yeah right!
Wearing white after labor day doesn’t just make you faux pas it makes you fashionable! Labor day is the sign that summer is coming to an end and that its time to start changing your wardrobe. There are a few theories about how this historical fashion rule came about, some say it was fashion magazine editors and some say it was created from people leaving their summer attire at the beach when coming back to the city life. Celebrities ignore this outdated rule and so should you! I’m even thinking about having an all white party like Diddy in December. White on White on White!
I did a casual day look and an a dresser look. My favorite man, Sir Bentley George made an appearance for this post! He was a little tired from going to the groomer and getting a few shots.
In my first look I paired my favorite legging jeans from Gap with Steve Madden wedges, a striped sequin tee from Old Navy, and a stretch blazer from Target.
For my second look, I did a more casual white outfit. I paired the same legging jeans from Gap with a white linen sleeveless oxford shirt from Old Navy, with a pair of beaded sandals and a neon yellow necklace.
Wear whatever color you want and time you want! Happy shopping and styling!
